Want to help Volunteer? We have many volunteering opportunities, and we need a lot of help.

想要成為服務志工嗎？我們有很多事務需要志工協助。

 

Tutor: will communicate with Taiwanese students and tell them how to improve their English. Requires commitment and regular checking of emails. Does not need to speak/type Mandarin, though if you do it will help immensely.

指導者：透過電子郵件與台灣學生以英文交流，藉由修正台灣學生寫作上的文法、拼字和其他類型的錯誤，協助及教導他們提升他們的英文程度。指導者需要具備服務熱忱與承諾，並且需要能定期查看及回覆電子郵件。不需要會說或寫中文，如果你剛好會一些的話可以幫我們很大的忙。

 

Quality Control: will proofread (hence the name) the email and all the corrections, and email an OK or editing back to the Tutor. Each QC will be assigned five to ten Tutors to proofread for.

品質控制者： 需要校對指導者及學習者雙方往來的電子郵件，回報不適當的通信內容，以及確認指導者回覆內容的正確性、更正錯誤，並回信給指導者。每位品質控制者將被分配為五到十位指導者及其指導學生校對書信。

 

Progress Tracker: manages charts. I will forward you all correspondence between Tutors and Students, and you will record them on charts in Google Drive which I will share with you.

進度管控者： 管理進度及統計圖表。您將會收到總部轉發給您的制式表格以及指導者及學習者之間所有通信資訊。您將負責將它們記錄在儲存於 Google Drive的表格內，並追蹤或敦促指導者應有的回覆。

 

Learning Content Creator: will write assignments and review online learning resources for appropriate levels of practice.

Another way to build content is creating short stories or series stories, it aims to raise the interest and opportunity of English reading and writing, and to enhance vocabulary development and reading comprehension. If you love writing, drawing, animation, you are welcome to submit your works for our blog, your creations can enrich the reading experience of those children who can't afford English books.

學習內容建立者： 將會依據不同程度撰寫作業及審查線上學習資源。另一個主要方式為創作短篇或連載故事，提昇英文閱讀與寫作的興趣與機會，並將著重在字彙發展與閱讀理解上。歡迎愛好寫作、繪畫、多媒體創作的國、高中生(甚至大朋友) 將您的作品貢獻到這個網站部落格，為沒有英文故事書的孩子豐富閱讀經驗。

 

 

Neighbor Workers: will work with children in need face-to-face, help them remove learning obstacles or motivate them to keep on writing, your effort will connect online tutoring with disadvantaged children.

Usually, parents, classroom teachers or school principals are the best help, but any one likes to help is definitely welcome!

社區工作者 : 可以與需要幫助的孩子當面互動，協助他們排除學習的障礙或鼓勵他們繼續寫作，您是將我們的服務與孩子連接的關鍵。

通常，家長、學校裏的老師或校長是最佳的人選，但任何願意幫忙的人我們都絕對歡迎。
